NBO: New Room, New Sounds, New Images

The Bush Orchestra played in the Meeting Room at Outlets this event - not so much space so it was very tight physically and musically.  The collage gives a sense of how the night came together.

Apart from Australian tunes, the players are gearing up for the Carols at the Substation.  For those interested in a preview of the music here is the Guitar and the Violin 1 and   Violin 2 music.  Apparently they are going to play 'Patapan' (I have never heard of it either).  It is a French carol in the style of the drummer boy and sounds beautiful in its simplicity - this version gives a sense of the tune tho it is embellished in a poppy sort of way.  This is a purer version.  Listening to a few versions will speed up the rehearsal process.
